MFL Spanish Residential

There will be a parents' evening on Wednesday 14th March at 6.30 for those learners going to Spain in May.

The meeting will take place in the Staff Room

Learners should bring a passport photo to the meeting.

Science Survey

The Science department would welcome feed back and invite parent/carers to fill in a questionnaire.

Year 9 Learners

All Year 9 learners will be sitting a Science End of Key Stage 3 examination on Thursday the 29th of March in their science lesson. Please see the Key Stage 3 weblinks section of the Science Department webpage for a list of useful sites to help the learners prepare for this exam. After school revision will be running after half term - more details of this to follow.

Year 7 Parents

Thank you to all parents of year 7 for their generous contributions to our India day and the parcel to India. We will be working with the charity to get a parcel out to India in the near future. There will also be a sale of sweets to raise money for the India school as we collected so many (we can not send some as they contain gelatine and the children in our Indian school are vegetarian). The money from the sale of these sweets will be sent to the charity to be spent on the school.

Nature Awareness

As part of 10c's 'Volunteering in the Community Award' they had to organise a fund raising event to raise money for a Nature Awareness boat trip. The photos show some of the learners steering the boat. It was a fantastic day.
