Special Education Needs

Appropriate provision is made for learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is organised by the SEN Co-ordinator in liaison with other key staff and assistance within the classrooms from a team of experienced learning support assistants. In addition, departments co-ordinate SEN support within their subject areas.

Supporting all learners is seen and accepted as a vital responsibility within the school. Staff aim to increase the expectations of learners, providing encouragement and emotional support and influencing individual self esteem. Parents who have concerns regarding their child’s educational needs are welcome to contact the school.
