Pathways
Pathways is a scheme that helps a small group of learners overcome the problems associated with transition from Primary School to High School.
Learners cover the whole curriculum but there is a focus on Literacy and Numeracy and the reduced numbers means that there is more opportunity for group and differentiated activities.
Trip to York Railway MuseumYear 7, 8 and 9 Pathways went to York Railway Museum on February 1st for their Stop the Clock activity. They were involved in a workshop with a Physics theme - Building Bridges - and then spent time on Art and English work as they looked around the Museum. Everyone enjoyed the day and they were a credit to the school.
