Post Offices will no longer sell MetroCards from December 2014.
From December 2014, Post Offices will no longer sell MetroCard products. Pupils who currently buy weekly or monthly School Plus or 16-25 tickets can now buy them at over 700 Payzone outlets. This is the biggest change in public transport ticketing in the last 30 years and will affect tens of thousands of young people in West Yorkshire.

If a pass is required for their chosen school service they must apply ASAP to guarantee a place. Priority is given to new intake but places will be allocated to older pupils after the application deadline in May.
All high school learners require a Metro Young Person’s Photo Card, which can be obtained from any bus station at a cost of £5, proof of age and a passport size photograph. Learners unable to get forms can collect one from school, but need to return the completed form to the bus station.
M-Travel provide a bus service morning and afternoon that runs through many of the outlying villages. Use of the bus is not restricted to school children but the service terminates outside the school gates.
